How to read years aloud in German?
How do you read years in German. If I was reading this line out, for 1995 would I say Neunzehnhundertfünfundneunzig?

"Neunzehnhundertfünfundneunzig" is perfect. That is the only correct way to read the number 1995. Very good!

'Neunzehnfünfundneunzig" kann auch.
Wennn gebraucht in einem Text die über das 20ste Jahrhundert geht, kann man nur "fünfundneunzig" sagen. der Leser weist schon dasz es über 1900 geht.
