'heb' or 'ben' for present perfect in dutch
For some verbs we use 'heb' while for others we use 'ben'.
For example,
Ik heb gewonnen ( I won )
but
Ik ben geslaagd ( I passed )
So, what are the rules, when do we use 'heb' and when do we use 'ben'?

in general ben is used when the verb describes a change of position or state. And the position or state changes from one to another. Mowing towards something specific - ben. just moving - heb. Thats how I understand these rules
