What is the cost of living for one month in Vietnam?
I'd like to live in HCM with a host family (if possible), and I'm planning to teach English there. It's certianly the best way to merge into their cultures and getting to know about the country..
Well, my lifestyle is pretty simple. I don'r drink or smoke; I dpn't go to pubs and I'd prefer to cook at home. I'd like to spend time exploring the country and it's cultures and it doesn't cost too much if we keep our eyes open.
And what are my chances of landing into a job as I want to teach Englsih?

To get a job anywhere decent you'll need a ESL certificate (CELTA or equivalent.) You might be able to get freelance work by advertising yourself when you get there but for a position at a school CELTA or equivalent is basically the minimum they'll want. Look at the jobs being advertised, it'll give you an idea of qualifications, pay rates etc http://www.eslcafe.com/joblist/

A TESOL certificate or other ESL qualifications are mandatory if you want to teach English as a second language anywhere in the world.
