A landmass is a general term meaning a large area of land.
A continent is specific term for 1 of 7 landmasses (ex Asia, Australia, Africa, Europe)

Landmass : it's a very large area of land (such as a continent).
Continent : one of the principal(largest) land masses of the earth.
Actually it's quite the same.
