what is the difference between pedagogy and pedagogics?
what is the difference between pedagogy and pedagogics?
and in particular, is "degree of Pedagogics" wrong? should I use 'pedagogy' instead?

They are directly equivalent terms. Both derive from the French "pédagogique", from the Greek "paidagōgikos". "Pedagogics" is a more old-fashioned term than "pedagogy". So no, a "degree of Pedagogics" is NOT wrong. But you probably should use 'pedagogy' instead.
