be bombarded
Hi! I have a quick question about "be bombarded"
Can I use it in a positive situation?
Like in"I was bombarded by beauty of the paintings."
Thank you!

I would not use it that way. It can be positive though.
When I asked for help, I was bombarded with suggestions.

I think bombarded suggests an excess. Like being overwhelmed. You can use it hyperbolically to suggest good things, but it usually means you are nonplussed and regardless of how good a thing may be, you require a bit of a break from it.
"After my accident, I was bombarded with emails wishing me to get well." It's not necessarily negative, but it implies it was more than you can handle at that moment.
