En España decimos "Hacer una manicura" para "get the nails done".
Para los pies, "Hacer una pedicura".
Por ejemplo: "Voy al salón de belleza a que me hagan una manicura / pedicura".
En pasado, algo diferente: "Fui al salón de belleza para hacerme una manicura / pedicura".

Muy fácil en México seria:
Fui al salón y me puse uñas

In Colombia and other latinamerican countries you use "hacer(se) las uñas" i.e. "Voy a hacerme las uñas." "Me hicieron las uñas ayer."

The word for 'nail', in Spanish, is 'uña' (fem.). The verb in English 'to get done' is a little hard, and depends on the context. In your sentence, Miki, this phrasal verb could be: 'arreglarse' (verbo reflexivo); I was searching this verb in other context and it is hard. But, the translation could be:
'Me arreglé las uñas en la estética' or 'Me arreglé las uñas en el salón de belleza'.
