The final part of something that is ongoing as series.
ドラマの最終回(かい): final episode (for TV drama)
最終学歴(がくれき): someone’s final education background, degree
最後:the last
You will not to have the thing in the future.
最後の1個(いっこ):the last one (when you are sharing food, for example)
最後の晩餐(ばんさん):“Last Supper” (Leonardo da Vinci)
