"Another" is "an other" written as one word. Just use "other", and when "an" happens to be before "other" (whether it's an adjective or a noun) remove the space.

You should see the word "another" like "an" + "other". In fact, "an other" and "another" are equivalent. It should not be hard to know when to use "other" or "another". A typical sentence involving another may be "Do you want another one?". Hope it helps.
