Give a dismissive gesture (wave away)
Can I say "I gave a dismmissive gesture (waved away??) towards the desk, making clear that I want it out of the room?"
Does that sound right, or is there a better way to say that?
Thanks in advance.
Sincerely, D

"I made a dismissive gesture towards the desk, indicating that I wanted it out of the room."
You would use "wave away" for people who you want to leave.
