I would argue that it depends on the context.
I left the house dirty : تركت المنزل متسخاً
I left the house on a hurry: خرجت من المنزل مسرعاً

First it's : خرجت من البيت ، not خرجت البيت
خرجت من البيت means literally : I went out of the house (or of home)
تركت البيت means literally: I letf home
So I would say both are correct but the second is more common
