「久しい」はしばらく・長い間と言う意味です。それに「～ぶり」が足された言葉が「久しぶり」です。
「～ぶり」とは、何時から今までといった用途で使います。例：昨日ぶり、3日ぶり、1年ぶり、久しぶり
