「目的」と「目標」の違いは何ですか。
Please help me understand the differences between them using example sentences.

目的=purpose
目標=goal
Ex:
A:日本語を勉強する目的はなんですか?
B:日本で働くためです。
A:どのぐらいのレベルになりたいですか?
B:ビジネス会話ができるようになるのが目標です。
Also, you can express your 目標 by number but you can't do that to your 目的.
Ex:
目標: 今月3キロやせる
毎朝3キロ走る
目的: 健康になるため
