What is the meaning of sailor?
The context is this. A girl who says hi sailor to a man in a bar.

A sailor is someone who is in the Navy or who sails on ships. During the war, supposedly women would say this to dashing young men being impressed by their uniform/service. It has become somewhat of a idiom to show interest in a man.
