"Guten Morgen!" sagt man morgens. "Guten Abend!" sagt man abends. "Guten Tag!", "Hallo!" usw. kann man den ganzen Tag sagen.

Guten Morgen= Good morning. Guten Tag normally you say it after morning and before nigh. It is just like hello, how are you.
