¿Cómo se habla sobre moneda?
Me gustaría saber como se habla sobre moneda... Por ejemplo:
"Barcelona paid 75 million pounds for Luis Suarez. That's 100 million US dollars or 85 million Euros" (NB: estas cifras no son basadas en hechos... Las inventé para el ejemplo)
Además, es "moneda" la palabra correcta para decir "currency"?
Muchas gracias a todos!

Hi there Tim! Yes, you can say "moneda" as the translation of "currency" or "dinero" as the translation of "money".
The correct way to say it would be: Barcelona pagó 75 millones de Libras Esterlinas por Luis Suárez. Esos son 100 millones de dólares americanos u 85 millones de Euros.
Espero haberte ayudado.
Saludos!

I suppose you mean the verb pay in spanish is "pagar" the first conjugation.
Currency means "moneda" as Grabiel wrote.
I really good way to learn Spanish is by repating the verbs over and over again.
Wish you the best¡
