Should I use 'en' or 'le/la/les' - Object pronouns
Context:
My girlfriend asked me if I did some duolingo this morning. If I replied "Yes, I did some" which object pronoun should I use?
Oui, j'en ai fait.
ou
Oui, je l'ai fait.
At first I used "Oui, j'en ai fait", because of the translation of "some", but then I thought that's only really used for food or something that requires the partitive article, par exemple "Est-ce que tu veux manger du riz". "Oui, j'en veux".
I think part of the confusion may be because in informal English we're very lazy. I don't think (I'm not a language student or teacher, so correct me if I'm wrong) that "I did some duolingo" is correct. It should probably be "I practiced my French on duolingo".Edit: The original question was "est-ce que tu fais ton duolingo?".
