Hi,what's the meaning of "Big day tomorrow" and what are the situations in which it's used?

You can say this if anything important is happening the next day.
Example: Birthday
"It's your big day tomorrow! Are you excited?"
Example: Interview
"It's the big day tomorrow. Don't be nervous."
