About the pronunciation of 必要 I'm finding this word 必要 very hard to say right. When I hear it it sounds like the h in Hitsu is silent and the word is said more like itsu, or sometimes it sounds like sitsu. How do you get this sound right?

Some people say "shitsuyou" for 必要 as a dialect and some people always confuse "hitsuyou" with "shitsuyou," but I've never heard "itsuyou". French people learning Japanese sometimes say "istuyou" because they mostly don't pronounce the sound "h" in their mother language.
