Please explain this for me. i will really appreciate it.
1.That mouthful means the nation is made up of the separate former states of England, Scotland, and Wales, plus Northern Ireland and all the islands around the British coast from the Isle of Wight to Shetland. What does mouthful mean?

It refers to an expression or group of words that is difficult to say. A complex series of words is often referred to as 'a mouthful' or 'a bit of a mouthful'
