It is about translation you´re listening for the same simple wos or phrases like "LAST NIGHT"above what is he meaning for above in spanish? why in the last part of the sentence? What is the function ABOVE within the sentence? I found in Internet it is Adverb

When you see the word "above" used in a sentence like that, it's referring to a previous example -- something that was written closer to the top of the page, before the question was asked. Creo que en español la palabra es "anteriormente" I hope that helps!

I would guess that the sentence should read "you're listening for the same simple words or phrases like "LAST NIGHT" above" and the "above" refers to some text above this sentence. It's saying to look for the words "last night" in the text that precedes this sentence.
