Which is correct...
Is "teaching" enseñando or enseñanza? Is one a verb and the other a noun? Thanks :)

That will depend a lot on the grammatical function of the word in English:
This teaching has its origins in Egypt (noun) = Esta enseñanza tiene sus orígenes en Egipto.
He is teaching Mathematics (present participle) = Él está enseñando matemáticas.
The teaching material (active present participle adjective) = Este material pedagógico.
Teaching is a beautiful work (gerund) = Enseñar es una obra hermosa.
I hope this helps.
