How to do I ask "Are you available" in different forms
I often use:
Are you free for the moment?
Are you available?
Thanks in advance.

Another possibility:
Can you spare a minute/moment?

You can use "are you there?", if the person is in the next room. On the phone, you would say "Is ___ there?" if someone else has answered.
Also, "Do you have a minute?" and "Do you have a moment?" are OK.
