Hi, this is just review my own study..do the following sentences make sense?
I would greatly appreciate your help with my sentences..
--I'm here once again to be an useless caddie with a bad service.
We had to take a rain check on the golf round yesterday, due to the changeable weather with lots of rain squalls.

'Service' is uncountable in this sense, so it doesn't take an article. You could perhaps say '....giving bad service'. The rest sounds fine.
