What's the difference of these sentences? I love to sing. I love singing.

They give lots of analysis in grammar books. But actually you don't have to differentiate between them.

The first sentence means you like if you sing, it doesn't imply someone else. The second sentence means you like singing in general, you may like if someone else sings.
