What's the meaning of "chest thump about" in this sentence? Can u give me some other examples of this phrase?

It comes from a gorilla hitting his chest to show his power, strength, and dominance. So in this case Oracle did not brag about their hardware like they had in previous quarters

It should be hyphenated: "chest-thump".
