connected vs associated
Is there any difference between 'problems connected with ' and 'problens associated with scientific and tecnical progress"???

In my opinion, they are both fine. It's possible that some people might interpret "connected" as a stronger term because sometimes "associated" means that there is a perceived link, but it may not be as tightly linked as something that is "connected."

Connected is stronger. For example, your arm is connected to your body, not associated with your body.
