Make or take a decision? I know is more common to make a decision, especially in the USA, but I also read to take a decision. Is take a decision incorrect?

Either is possible. You can make or take a decision. 'Make' is more common, but 'take' is also widely used, particularly in British English.

We would say "make" a decision. Neil offered some other very good options.
