can I say this? mikor megyek ott - when I go there ?? when I put it into the translator, it morphs into: amikor én ott

The correct form is: amikor odamegyek. (This is the literal translation. Or, alternatively, "amikor ott vagyok", which means "when I'm there". I guess this would be the online translator's version.)
