how to say this about cigarette?
A guy who stands in the street with a lighted cigarette in his hand.
how to describe this action? Can I say this guy is standing in the street pinching a cigarette?

"Pinchng a cigarette" would be taking a cigarette from someone else. It's very casual, perhaps better used with friends rather than strangers on the street to ask if you can have one of theirs.
If the guy is just standing in the street smoking, he is not pinching a cigarette, he is just smoking.
