I'd like to add another simple example. "Ka" （か） also means "Or". Example: あなたはサッカーか野球がすきですか？(anatawa sakkaa ka yakyuu ga suki desuka?) Do you like soccer or baseball?

or means または or それとも or もしくは in japanese. here is an example. あなたは soccer が すきですか。 それとも、 baseball が すきですか？ in english do you like soccer or baseball? i hope it helps!!!
