hm. i don't think so. traditional view is something like the consensus, or what everyone has believed to be true. 'traditional point' isn't really used. but someone might say 'traditional point of view', which means the same as 'traditional view'

Robin: Yes, the terms are synonymous. Both refer to an idea, a concept, also referred to as a "standingpoint" or a proposition. My point is my "view". Your point is your "view". Their point is their "view". The term "traditional" can be regarded as a vague qualification, unless you can offer specific details.
