gehört vs gehören? When to use which, and is one or the other not right at all? Zb diese Satz: Hast du das Geräusch gehört? Why couldn't this be gehören?

"gehört" ist das Partizip II (Partizip Perfekt) von "hören" (Infinitiv). Du hörst das Geräusch. Du hast das Geräusch gehört. "gehören" (Infinitiv) bedeutet etwas anderes als "hören". Die Bücher gehören Jennifer. Die Bücher haben Jennifer gehört.
