I don't get a "funny" joke. Can you help me??????????/
Here is the joke:
Tomato in training
Q: What did the sergeant say to the slacker tomato?
A: "You better ketchup!"
I really don't see what they meant. Please explain it to me, don't leave me hanging.

Ketchup sounds like "catch up", Ketchup is made from tomatoes.
The joke is a kind of word play called a "pun".
