So I would be home itching and missing everyone. And I can't believe it. Because the film means so much to me. I just can't believe it. but such is life. There is it. Send everyone my love and hope everything goes well.

You 'transcribed' the video. To dictate is to speak aloud whilst others listen (usually with no feedback) and they (optionally) write it down. Think about 'dictator' and 'dictation'. A 'transcription' is the written down audio from a tape/video.
