「なんで」と「なぜ」の違いを日本語で教えてください。

なんで is super informal
なぜ is very formal, a lot of times it's used in writing
In between the two in terms of politeness there is どうして, you hear that a lot in conversations.

I think なぜ is formal and なんで is informal. But I'm not sure if there is another difference or not.
