What is the dfference between these two terms "die Angel/Angeln" and "der Angelhaken | die Angelhaken"

"die Angel" is the fishing rod itself - the item you use for fishing.
"das Angeln" is the nominalized verb of "to fish" ("fishing") -> it's the complete process of fishing.
"der Angelhaken / die Angelhaken" is the fishhook, the most front part of the fishing line - where baits and lures are positioned at.
