What do "oot" and "oon" Mean In English?
I hear these Finnish words a lot in spoken language... what are they short for? Do they simply mean "I am" and "you are" ?

The difference between spoken and written language is:
mä oon = minä olen
sä oot = sinä olet
toi /se o = hän on
me ollaan = me olemme
te ootte = te olette
ne o = he ovat
