I don't get the sentence " we're kind of thing now"
Barry: No! (To Rachel) I went with Mindy.
Rachel: Mindy?! My maid of honour , Mindy?!
Barry: Yeah, well, uh, WE'RE KIND OF THING NOW.

it should be like: " we're kind of a thing now". It is saying that they both have a personal relationship between each other of some sort like a romance.
