Utiliza el adjetivo cálido o caluroso para describir el clima, en un día ó una estación del año.
El día esta cálido
El día esta caluroso.
Por lo general:
-caliente: agua, comida, ropa + en sentido figurado - colores calientes
-caluroso: día + en sentido figurado - calurosa bienvenida
-cálido: clima + en sentido figurado – colores cálidos
