These two words may at first appear to mean the same thing, but appearances can be deceptive….
There is sometimes a big difference between these two words. The word "obvious" means something is easy to see. The word "apparent" can refer to how something *seems,* when in fact it is different in reality.

Hi! The two words have almost the same meaning.
apparent: easy to see or understand - Looking at her, it became apparent that she was angry.
obvious = clear - It was obvious that something was wrong.with her story.
