About the meaning of "neat idea". Does it mean more a clear idea or great idea ?
I came across this word and I don't have the whole sentence.

In American English, 'neat' is an all-purpose adjective showing approval. A 'neat idea' is simply a good idea.
It has nothing to do with 'neat' in the sense of keeping your bedroom neat and tidy.
