It means hal-hal .condition ,situation ,affair or matter.
Plural :hal hal

hal2 is hal-hal, we write hal2 as a short form.
Hal-hal means things or cases
Hal means case
For example: "Hal ini berlaku kerana..." = "This thing/case happens because..."
When you're describing/explaining different things/cases at once you use "hal-hal"
