Question: Are 'displayed' and 'showcase' used in the same way?
( Don't be under the impression that simply sticking the word 'Does' in front of something turns it into a question! That's not how it works...)
Answer: Not really.
'Display' is literal and visual e.g. 'The children's work is displayed in the classroom' or 'The winning paintings are displayed in the art gallery'.
'Showcase' is used more figuratively, and is not necessarily visual e.g. The festival showcases the talent of local musicians.'
