The term 'sic' is a Latin abbreviation used when a writer uses a quotation knowing that there is a mistake in it. The writer is quoting the exact words of another person including an error made by that person. In this case the error is the typo 'persed'. There is no such word as 'persed'. It might be 'pursued'.

6 episode 3 - My best guess is the painter has a collection of paintings together in a series maybe to tell a story that's what the description sounds like but I wouldn't know for sure out of context.
Perse- is a shade of blue, it's an adjective not a verb so I'm not sure if it is a typo. As far as I know persed is not an English word but the painter could be trying to say that the sky is clear blue after a storm.
