Downstairsは日本語でなんですか。How do you say downstairs in Japanese?
I have seen "ちかいにあります" and, ”下にあります”. Which one is the proper and/or the correct way to say that an object is downstairs?

If you are on the second floor and you are talking about the first floor, it means した(下) or いっかい(一階).
If you are on the first floor and you are talking about the basement, it means 下 or ちか(地下).
I hope you get it.
