Is there an easy way to memorize kanji?
Is there something that I should Look out for when I'm writing it, or is it just memorization?

Using flashcards helps. Every day you could learn a new kanji character, how to read and write it, and how to create words with it. At the end of the week you can test yourself by writing down all the kanji you learned with its definitions, readings, and how to write it. That way it gets stuck in your mind.

Aside from knowing the radicals, I don't think there's a whole lot else you can do. Using spaced-repetition flashcards helps a lot, though.
