take one´s chances / stake
I´d like to know how to translate Spanish ¨: me la estoy jugando .
the scenario is : you tell your boss something that can cause you trouble , maybe dismissal. SO you start by saying : I know I am taking my chances??? but I ´ve decided to tell you I don´t agree with....
I wondered if "Take one´s chances " is the correct phrase.
Thanks

I know that I'm taking a risk.
I know that I'm taking a chance.
'To take your chances' means something different. It means to rely on luck or fate to resolve something.
