How do I say have a nice day in Japanese?
Can I say 良い日を過ごして.

That's a difficult question. "Have a nice day" is usually translated into
"Yoi ichinichi o" 「よい一日を。」, but we don't actually use this expression
in out conversations. Instead, we use:
「じゃ、お元気で」
「じゃあ、がんばってね」
「それでは、また」
「失礼します」, etc.
