stören
When I looked for the definition of stören in the dictionary it is written that means to interrupt but I think in the following sentence it doesn't fit: Mich stören 30 Sekunden-Spots, die die laufende Sendung nur kurz unterbrechen.

Stören means to bother, irritate, or disturb. In this sentence, unterbrechen means to interrupt. So the whole sentence in English is "30-second ads which shortly interrupt the on-going program disturb me." or literally, "Me disturb 30-second ads which the on-going program only shortly interrupt."
